Before I headed off to LA for IndieCade 2013 last year I decided to kit myself out with some new duds (hello, the ’90s.). But instead of just buying the nearest Batman shirts, I thought, why not design some of my own? I’ve done it before. So designed and made a couple of T-Shirts around a couple of things I like in life.
Batman: The Brave and the Bold is an excellent show. It’s one of those rare things where the tone is consistently perfect. It understands exactly what is wonderful about Silver Age comics but that it is equally wonderful to make fun of them. This is another T-Shirt I designed and had printed, but there are no photos of the final product. It was at 24’s zenith and I watched a lot of it back to back. The message should be clear to anyone who watched the show. The original design was white on black, shown here:
A lot my friends are Venture Bros. fans. This is a t-shirt I had printed as a gift. It features a few quotes from the show that other characters use to describe Brock Samson.
