Steven Seagal movies tend to have titles where you can read Seagal’s name followed by “is” followed by the title to make a full sentence. His best movie is called “Out for Justice”. So with his name on top of the poster you can form the complete sentence “Steven Seagal is Out for Justice”. Many of the official posters took the opportunity to do this, as shown at left. Essentially all of his films follow this naming convention. It’s almost scientific. One thing that came out of the summer’s quest was the idea that we could take the films where “is” doesn’t work and make a complete sentence anyway. Below is a small gallery of some Photoshops I did to try to demonstrate this idea.
